Better Butterflies

Scientists experimented with CRISPR technology, editing butterfly genes, to see what would happen to the colors and patterns on their wings. Later, it was revealed that corporations were funding the research to add their own patterns (logos) to butterfly wings. Previously, butterflies weren’t contributing to capitalistic society, and were simply fluttering around without purpose. Now, butterflies can contribute to capitalism by serving as flying billboards for whichever corporation chooses to add their branding to their wings. Better.
